What can I say?
Born in New York City, spent a couple of decades in Silicon Valley building a family and a technology and management career, moved to Austin, Texas.
Much of my career has been spent working for small startup companies. Along the way, a few of those companies were my own. Today, I work for ThoughtWorks as an organizational and product delivery consultant.
I’m involved in the agile community, helping organizations learn about agile and adopt agile practices. I’m also an Open Space Technology facilitator, because I love it and believe in it. From time to time, I present on a variety of topics, and have been a professional motivational speaker.
My passions are my family and my photography.
This book had its conception when I was watching “Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe”. In one of the early scenes, Lucy (the youngest sibling) finds her way to Narnia and while wandering about stumbles upon a lamppost. The idea for this book, the theme, the direction – they all came into my head at that moment.
